I have decided to limit his action to trails as difficult as Sledgehammer or easier. TurtleTruck is as close as I will ever get to the "Ultimate" off road exploration vehicle, able to go almost anywhere, in comfort, with room for LOTS of gear and/or people, and then drive home at 70+ MPH on the Interstate for 12 hours. I have come to the realization that to push a full bodied 4Runner, no matter how well equiped, beyond a certain point would destroy it. so... enter my new project truck, known as "The Hot Rod", will be built to take on the hardest trails I dare to attempt. |
